Encouraging health and wellness in our community are vital to our mission. Thanks to some very generous donors, Appleton Medical Center Foundation awards a number of scholarships to area high school, undergraduate, and graduate students each year that encourage students to consider careers in health care.
In 1997, family and friends of Jayme L. Reetz proudly established the Jayme Reetz Scholarship Fund at Appleton Medical Center. Jayme was dedicated to Appleton Medical Center for 12 years as a registered nurse in the Cardiac Intensive Care and Post Anesthesia Care Units. She is fondly remembered by everyone who was fortunate enough to work with her. Her passion for life, positive attitude, and her sincere and deep caring for the wellbeing of others set her apart as a truly exceptional and outstanding nurse and caregiver.
Since its inception, the Jayme Reetz Scholarship has awarded $24,500 to assist Appleton Medical Center employees pursuing a nursing education.
In memory of Jayme, to honor her life and career, we hope the Scholarship will help others achieve their professional goals. Donations to the Jayme Reetz Scholarship Fund can be made at any time to the Appleton Medical Center Foundation or by calling (920) 738-6503 for more information.
